There's an Italian festival headed our way this summer

festa italiana pop up festival in manchester

Plough your way through pizza at an Italian festival in Manchester.

A free food festival in the city for those with a love of Italian cuisine? That's right ladies and gentleman, Christmas has come pretty early this year. Rocking up at the Cathedral Garden, Festa Italiana is throwing bringing Italy to the shores of Manchester with a festival of market trading, live music, live cookery theatre, food producers, cocktails and more.

Perfect for those that have pizza and pasta running through their veins, the festival, put on by some of Manchester's finest Italian restaurant groups, promises the city's biggest showcase of European cuisine; from pasta making stations and pop-up food stalls for all your Italian finery to live music and drinks tasters. Not enough to sway you? There's even going to be a 50-metre-pizza attempt courtesy of Salvi's. I know, I know... we had you at arancini.

Festa Italiana will take place in Manchester between June 23rd and 25th 2017. Location of the festival can be found at Cathedral Garden.
