Think you know this festive favourite? Then everything is about to change...

Guess who's back? The Oast House's Curious Teepee has set up camp in Spinningfields, but this beauty has been given a makeover to mark its 10th anniversary. So, just when you thought it couldn't get any better than previous years, the pop-up bar is coming in hot with fire pits, Christmas cocktails, mulled wine and a lineup of loaded pies (yup, that's fillings inside and out) for 2022.

Already one of the city's most loved winter venues, this cosy spot is building on that reputation with its most recent offering: three whole tents joined together in one warming hub. Whether you head over to cuddle up among the fur throws or grab some hearty grub - think chicken madras or pulled pork and apple pies, Yorkshire pudding wraps, and buffalo chicken mac 'n' cheese - the winter tipi is an ideal, Instagrammable setting. Not only that, but there's a lineup of live musicians playing everything from acoustic tunes to pop, funk and soul.

The Curious Teepee can be found in The Oast House's courtyard until Sunday 29th January. After more winter bars? Check out this guide. Plus, make sure you're signed up to our Manchester newsletter and get the latest sent to your inbox.
