Northern Monk has teamed up with Green Times Brewing to create a cannabis oil beer.

Looking for a bit oomph on your next night out? Northern Monk Refectory, the tap room in Manchester's Northern Quarter, has teamed up with Green Times Brewing to release a CBD oil-infused mix. Green Heathen is a punchy pint (7.2% ABV) that's been infused with cannabis oil, for a soft and tropical flavour. While this is Northern Monk's first dalliance with the legal supplement, Manchester-based Green Times Brewing have previously released High Flyer, a CBD-infused IPA. Seen in everything from vapes to afternoon teas, CBD is one hot product at the moment, with fans claiming the hemp-derived compound boasts a whole range of health benefits. Looks like we'll have to try a pint for ourselves...

Green Heathen is being sold at Northern Monk Refectory, 10 Tariff Street, Manchester, M1 2FF. The beer contains 10mg of CBD per pint.
