Mr Thomas's Chophouse is one of the most popular traditional Manchester pubs.
Britain’s Best Real Heritage Pubs is an illustrated book featuring 270 pubs of outstanding historical interest in the UK, with 27 of the pubs being located in Greater Manchester - and a handful of these in Manchester City Centre.
Manchester city centre pubs to be featured in the guide include:
- The Peveril of The Peak
- The Briton's Protection
- Circus Tavern
- The Marble Arch
- Mr Thomas's Chop House
The book’s author Geoff Brandwood, of CAMRA’s Pub Heritage Group said “our pubs have been changed so much during the past half century that ones with genuine historic interiors are now incredible rarities. This book identifies the top 270 of these national treasures and presents a unique picture of the diversity of interior styles spanning a century or more ”.
The book will be available to purchase from the 6th of May in all good book shops.
