The Northern Quarter has some great coffee shops and to make it better, some of the finest cocktail bars in Manchester. So what if we were to tell you that there is a new pop up bar coming to town that combines the two perfectly? Mexican coffee liqueur Kahlúa has teamed up with Manchester cocktail afficionados The Liquorists and two of the city's finest coffee houses, The Coffee Circle and Teacup; all with the aim of creating a stylish food and drink experience. From Friday 29th March to Sunday 28th April, you can swing by the Kahlúa Coffee House (104 High Street) to enjoy two floors of Mexican inspired coffee cocktails, food and film nights, and to top things off, they even have a speakeasy VIP room!
The Market House Restaurant is the home of Manchester's newest pop up bar.
Kahlúa Coffee House spans two floors, offering a totally different experience on both. Step into the downstairs coffee house and enjoy sourced coffee from The Coffee Circle guys, quality milkshakes, authentic agua frescas, stunning cocktails and some tasty bar snacks from the brains behind Northern Quarter favourite Teacup.
The drinks made by The Liquorists' boys looks set to be a real hit with the cocktails drinkers of Manchester.
Upstairs is a totally different ball-game; Salon de Kahlúa is a chic VIP events space open Thursday to Saturday only, where entry is by invitation or reservation. Expect a cocktail menu crafted by The Liquorists boys, complete with some top Kahlúa recipes; free cocktail masterclasses are also run twice a night (which are first come first served) - a wonderful added extra for a pop up bar that keeps on giving. But that's not everything, to round it all off you can even get comfy and enjoy a film screening at 8pm every Thursday where you can see 'Frida', 'Duck Soup' and 'The Big Lebowski' (all with a little Mexican/Kahlua influences).
