5th Avenue is one of the most popular student clubs in Manchester

Manchester's legendary Indie nightclub 5th Avenue have announced that the club is expanding to create a second room.

Billed as 'Manchester's No.1 Indie Experience', 5th Avenue is one of the city's most long standing night clubs; consistently popular with the its student and indie crowds.

Now 5th Avenue has announced the start of a new chapter, with the opening of a second room from September allowing the club to diversify their music policy and offer a fuller clubbing experience catering to wider tastes.

A statement on the club's website reads: "We’ve thought for a long time that the one thing holding the club back was the fact that we only had one (albeit very large) room, meaning the diverse range of music we offer is all one place."

The second room will have a separate music policy, a separate DJ, Funktion One sound system and lighting rig. Check it out for yourself from September.
