George's Dining Room & Bar

George’s is a dining room and bar in Worsley owned by Ryan Giggs and his boyhood pals. A stylish, charming and rustic venue, the restaurant and bar offers modern British cuisine in a homely, yet modern setting. A chic bar, its packed with endearing design features, from a wooden clad wine bar, chalkboard menus and lanterns scattered about, to refined table arrangements, bookshelf style wall paper, and brass light fittings. The mix of styles, much like the varied clientele, creates a discerning, yet comfortable feel. 

At the bar an ample wine selection, also gives way to a selection of cocktails. While the food is beautifully presented, striking somewhere between fine dining and gastro pub fare, think mini gammon joints with duck eggs, or posh bangers and mash -  an open kitchen adds extra bustle to the vibe of the bar. Brunch on weekends is especially popular, as is their Champagne afternoon tea. Named after acclaimed architect Sir George Gilbert Scott, who built the village church in Worsley, the venue takes much of its inspiration from the local area; Giggs and his mates' childhood stomping ground.

With a cosy feel, yet cosmopolitan standards, and a pretty setting in an old village abode, George's is a stylish addition to the village of Morsley.
