Description
Housed in the former Union Bank of Manchester on Bridge Street, This Godless Place is a restaurant first and a proper bar second. Ornate ceilings, exposed brick and the original bank vaults, softened with cosy booths, neon lighting and a disco ball that comes into its own after dark.
The one to order: our fried chicken. Three whole citrus-brined thighs, fried crisp, finished with lime salt and served with house fries – with chicken gravy, hot honey or lemon pepper aioli to dip. The chicken is gluten-free and cooked in its own fryer.
Alongside it: birria brisket, lime steak and al pastor chicken tacos (all gluten-free, with a veggie option), burgers on brioche, a steak sandwich, small plates (6 each or any 3 for 15), sides and desserts. Brunch runs from open till 1pm – full English, full veggie (make it vegan), breakfast tacos and DIY butties – with the full menu from 12pm. There's a kids menu for under 12s too.
Behind the bar: draught Brooklyn, Poretti and Guinness plus rotating craft lines, wines, and a full cocktail list of spritzes, margaritas and classics, with Rum Punch and Aperol Spritz jugs to share.

- Bottomless Brunch £45pp – nachos sharer to start, any dish from the menu and 2 hours of bottomless drinks. Friday till 6pm, Saturday & Sunday till 4pm.
- Sunday Unlimited Tacos £25pp – 90 minutes of tacos, two at a time, with a dip every round. Sittings at 1pm & 4pm. Add unlimited margaritas for £25.
- 2 for 1 cocktails 5–7pm – all cocktails, not jugs.
- Kids eat free on Sundays – one kids meal with every adult main.
