Description
Named after Mr Cooper whose house and garden sat on the site of The Midland Hotel back in 1819, Mr Cooper's House and Garden is a 150 seat restaurant and 50 cover bar inside the prestigious Manchester hotel at the top of Oxford Road. Mr Cooper was a popular figure in Manchester, serving the local community with the sale of fresh food.
Headed up by chef Simon Rogan, head chef at The French restaurant at The Midland, the restaurant offers a varied selection of informal cuisine, alongside an exciting new destination bar serving up inventive cocktails that reflect Rogan's imaginative use of ingredients. From the garden dining room with its cascading wall of plants, 30ft tree and gazebo, to the 50 cover library bar with its opulent booths and semi private 'study', Mr Cooper's House and Garden offers a multitude of different dining experiences under one roof and a magical setting for lunch, dinner or drinks in Manchester city centre.
