Gorilla

Description

Part of the popular Trof family of Manchester bars and venues, this former theatre is one of the finest multi-purpose spaces in Manchester. Bar, restaurant, live venue and nightclub in one, this Whitworth Street gem has fast become one of the coolest hangouts in the city.

Housed in a railway arch underneath Oxford Road Station close to the other Oxford Road bars, the main bar boasts full height windows, minimal sixties inspired decor and a mezzanine area with its own Gin Parlour, offering a great range of gin cocktails and tonic mixes.

Great for after work drinks, Gorilla's excellent cocktails cost just £5 between 5pm and 8pm every day (carafes of wine also only £9). They offer draught, canned and bottled beer as well as a great range of the finest spirits. Gorilla also excels in the food department. With an all-day menu that is home to ‘The Best Burger in Manchester’ (no joke), Gorilla can hit the spot with anything from their in-house baked pastries to a good old Sunday roast. Oh, and don't leave without trying the Deluxe Fries seasoned with parmesan and truffle oil. You can thank us later.

Behind all this sits a 600 capacity live music and club space which hosts regular gigs and top drawer club nights in a uniquely decorated arena. If you’re looking for top night out in Manchester, then look no further than Gorilla. Book your table for food now or hire the mezzanine for your special event using the form above.
