The Whiskey Jar is a cool Northern Quarter bar spread over two floors of a Grade II listed building. With two bars and plenty of comfortable seating, you can choose whether to have a quiet or more upbeat drink. They also have a downstairs event area that plays host to Private parties, weddings, work parties, birthdays and many more, making it one of the Northern Quarter’s best all-in-one venues.
The bar offers up a great cocktail list, local ales and of course, premium whiskeys. The Whiskey Jar also does some great cocktail classes for anyone who wants to learn how to recreate some of their favourite drinks.

The Whiskey Jar has undoubtedly become one of the Northern Quarter's favourite spots. This old textile mill has been beautifully restored with it’s upstairs bar playing host to a range of popular nights. We now have a fully functioning, basement event space complete with bar, seating and a fantastic sound system with DJ equipment. The space is ideal for public music events, private parties, corporate events, photoshoots, conferences, yoga classes, exhibitions etc. licensed up until 2am on a Thursday and 4am on Friday and Saturday (terms and conditions apply) We also offer catering for all occasions, in which we supply an eclectic range of award winning local pies, scotch eggs and cheese boards – we will also do our utmost to provide you with any other food requests. |
