Well according to history there are a number of reasons why it's called Boxing Day but we think what really matters, is that it's a bank holiday and it's still considered a part of the festive period! Which will do for us! With many people making the most of the 'day of rest' following a hectic previous day filled with copious amounts of wrapping paper to discard of, leftover wasted food you have to feed to the dog and the in laws you have to entertain under sufferance, there's the rest of us who can't wait to escape the kids and get our glad rags on for a night of boozy antics! I mean it is Boxing Day after all!
