Description
Diecast in Manchester is a bold and immersive venue that reimagines a 250,000-square-foot former metalworks factory into a vibrant creative neighbourhood. Inside, the industrial aesthetic is softened with neon signage, lush foliage, and eclectic artwork, creating a space that feels both raw and welcoming.
The venue is divided into several distinct areas, including the Warehouse Kitchen, Brooklyn Beer Hall, and Club Leno, each offering a unique experience—from relaxed daytime dining to high-energy nightlife with grassroots DJs and live performances. The venue also boasts Manchester’s largest beer garden, complete with caravans, a firepit, and a smokehouse, making it a year-round destination.
At the heart of Diecast’s culinary offering is Leno Ex Machina, a concept driven by the team behind Manchester favourites Ramona and Firehouse. The kitchen blends Neapolitan and New York pizza styles into a signature “NeoPan” pizza—crispy yet fluffy, baked to order in the custom-built Leno Pizza Ex Machina.
The menu also features inventive small plates, burgers, and loaded fries, with standout items like Calabrian chicken wings and waffle fries drenched in hot sauce and sour cream. Owner and director Dan Mullen describes Diecast as “an immersive food, drink and clubbing experience on an industrial scale,” and the venue has quickly earned acclaim for its ambitious scale, creative energy, and culinary innovation.
