Brought to you by Ross Mackenzie and cocktail whizz-kid, Lyndon Higginson, the good folks behind the likes of some of the coolest Manchester bars, Black Dog Ballroom, Dog Bowl, and The Liars Club, Cane and Grain is a high-end establishment with an unadulterated air of industrial cool; with refined cocktails and a slightly more food focused concept than the other bars in the group. Taking the place of the former Thomas Restaurant and Bar in the Northern Quarter, 'The First Floor' is an all-seated swanky cocktail bar, whilst the ground-floor, 'The Rib Joint', is all about lunchtime eats and crowds in for after post-work drinks with their hearty South American and Texan inspired fare (we're talking Bacon Popcorn and Dino Beef Ribs). Hire The Liars Lounge for your private party or corporate event. Whether you’re celebrating, have a work event or looking to book your Christmas party, we’ve got it covered. With a capacity of up to 100 people, the private hire space has a private tiki bar, extensive cocktail menu, rustic seating areas and full DJ and sound system facilities. Our full rib joint food menu is also available. To hire the room Sun-Fri we need a £100.00 deposit for use of the space and we require groups to place a pre-order. On a Saturday we require a £100.00 hire fee for use of the room exclusively until 21:00 with a £500.00 minimum spend to be used by this time on pre-ordered food and drinks. |
