Summer TBC

Bottomless brunch? Disco roasts? Dazzling club nights? That’s what in store for us Mancs, as Mama Roux’s is set to swing into Deansgate this summer.

After becoming one of the most talked-about venues in Birmingham, this sparkling sensation has just announced it's going to be taking over the spot next to Point Blank Shooting. If its Midlands premises is anything to go by, the new opening will be a serious party place, with massive mirror balls, pretty purple hues and, of course, a heavy dose of glitter. As for your soundtrack? Expect an uplifting playlist of disco and house.

To start off, the kitchen will be taken over by Broken Bone BBQ, which is going to be slinging out juicy burgers and mouthwatering smoked meats. But as time goes on, you can expect a varied roster of local street food vendors taking up residency instead. And if you fancy something a little different? You’ll be able to try out one of their "basically" bottomless brunches and disco roasts, which will see you wolfing down mega munch, knocking back tasty drinks and shaking your thang to quality tunes.

And it wouldn’t be Mama Roux’s without a quirky cocktail – just check out the tequila hoe’se, a heady mix of Ciroc Red Berry, tequila rose and milk, topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. Even better, regular happy hours mean you can bag two cocky-ts for just £10. But if that’s not for you, simply have a look at the fab selection of draught beers and classic wines.
