Taking over the former Gusto Italian site on Lloyd Street, Gigi Gusto Griglia is an Italian grill room and bar located within a striking Grade II-listed building in Manchester city centre. Originally serving as the city's library and registrar's office, the landmark space has been reimagined by the team at Want Studios, blending historic architecture with a refined, contemporary dining concept.
The kitchen is led by acclaimed Manchester chef Sam Astley-Dean, formerly of Onda and Lina Stores. Expect Italian-inspired dishes centred around open-fire cooking, alongside fresh pasta and sharing plates designed for the table. At the heart of the venue is Bar Eleganza, a stylish cocktail bar known for its signature Negronis, aperitifs, live piano performances and DJ sets.
