What they say:

Impossible Manchester is opening in the former spot of Bar 38 following a £3 million renovation. Spread across three floors, Impossible will feature a bar, theatre and restaurant all of which are stocked full of surprises and secrets. From cryogenically frozen cocktails and 63 varieties of gin in the secret gin palace through to an immersive nightlife experience with a catwalk, theatre and private VIP areas in the basement bar, Impossible is inspired by founders Aaron Mellor's travels, as well as paying homage to famous Mancunians.

What we say:

Manchester has always been a leader in culture and nightlife, and one man who knows that better than most is former DJ Aaron Mellor. Having worked in institutions such as Hacienda and Factory, he is now bringing a 260 cover bar, restaurant and nightclub to Peter Street. This isn't your average night out though; the restaurant is open 12 - 9pm and will serve dishes such as kangaroo tacos and salt and pepper crickets, while a molecular cocktail laboratory will have a Champagne bubble machine and alcoholic mist condenser.
