We think it's fair to say that Beermoth are pretty clued up on this whole 'beer' thing. Since they began trading in 2013, their store on Tib street immediately became somewhat of a Shangri-La for beer lovers in Manchester - boasting regular tasting events, an awesome range of brews, and a team full of knowledgable and enthusiastic staff. Finally, they've opened their own proper Café Bar; a place where they can serve up their extensive range of beers and coffees to a much wider audience... welcome, Café Beermoth.
You'll find this Eden of ales in Manchester's Spring Gardens, perhaps not the obvious spot, but there isn't a single independant coffee shop or pub in the area. City workers will be able to start off their days with a proper cup of coffee before getting their lips around a smooth pint in the evening. Step inside and you'll quickly discover that they’ve opted for comfort over pizzaz here - expect comfy furniture and plenty of booths to sink into with your pint. And the same can be said in terms of the decor; Café Beermoth dons a lot of wood, a neutral colour palette and some vintage fittings.
But there's a reason as to why everything has been kept so simple here - they've purely created the most comfortable space for you to enjoy a pint. Head towards the long bar and you'll discover seven handpumps and a ten keg beer line - all waiting to be sampled. On top of that, there's two fridges here - one to hold ageing stouts and the other to keep a ever-changing rotation of awesome bottled beers. And finally, if you're feeling peckish, marry your pint with one of the delectable charcuterie and cheese plates on offer.
