Literally this was the most awful event I have ever been to. We went for my friends birthday and we're told to come for 6- stood around in a cramped room for over an hour where no one seemed to know what was going on. Then got separated from the rest of our group, did some shocking activity where you had to stand to attention and then another one where a man just spoke about his one eye and how it got stabbed out in the ear. Then stood around doing nothing, this was terribly organised, a real rip off at 35 quid a person - what a joke!!!!! If I can organise a shit event and charge that money then let me know and I will be a millionaire! Too awful for words and all the good reviews on here are fake by the way- they are the organisers friends !!!!!! One star is being generous - I give this 0 stars.

Sent an email which has been ignored. The evening was a total shambles. £35 per ticket and another £40 on an outfit to stand in a freezing cold church doing nothing. Im extremely embarassed to have asked my friends (10 of us) to spend this money on my birthday. They are asking me for a refund and i will now have to shell out for them all. This was not in the slightest bit immersive. The staff were all drunk and had no idea what was going on. It was not safe and the only escape room experience i had was when i left at 9.30! A refund would be a nice gesture

Really a shame. I booked 16 tickets for my husbands birthday - with the promise of escape rooms, character driven narrative from the beginning, sabrage, 5 themed bars. None of which took place. Left in the cold for ages. No one checked tickets. Too many people. Given 3 minutes in one room we couldn't complete rest were a waste of time. Made to wait 20 minutes in a pitch black room just to pass buckets to each other. None of the actors knew what was going on. Good band but no atmosphere as everyone was annoyed at paying 35£ to sit in a room with some flags and booze , waiting for something to happen which never materialised. Will be asking for money back or compensation as I feel embarrassed having asked my friends to shell out for something which was not what was advertised. Most disappointing and worst immersive event I've been to. We've just left early after 3 hours of standing around. We'll never get this time back! We were left to stand outside in the cold for 45 min with the excuse that they were not ready. Watching the organisers walking around with beers inside while a queue of people shivered in the cold. Then went into a room with no music, zero ambience promised sabrage champagne on the description. Instead it was plastic glasses and cheap stuff. More and more people streamed in, no directions, standing around for 2 hours! No entertainment, just a church hall. Then queued for 20 minutes in the glaring hall to start the immersive experience. Finally we thought! Did the spy 'immersive' route. Nothing improved much as we visited 3 spaces for a few minutes before back in the glaring hall. Sorry guys, don't put on an immersive event if you haven't got your planning down pat. Stick to smaller events. Do your research and prep better. Go to Bourne & Hollingworth events and take a page from their book. As vintage fans, 1940s dressers and swing dancers this was a giant flop in our book. A nice gesture will be to refund us the costly tickets. Linda visited Secret East London Location on 02 Dec 2017

What a mess!! Waited hours to watch people get matched in corners of the room to perform something. Everyone I spoke to was bored and confused and had been waiting around for nothing to happen. Can I have my money back? Karen visited Secret East London Location on 02 Dec 2017

Awful. After two hours of waiting for something to happen, we gave up and left for dinner. The ‘theme’ appeared to be ‘un-ironed Union Jacks’ and no one - including staff - had any idea what was going in. Total waste of money

All the Partygeek events I've been to have been epic. The impressive level of detail, the high fun factor and the incredible bunch of people. Its ability to throw a party, be entertained and learn fascinating new things sets Partygeek apart. I cannot recommend highly enough. Ankush visited Secret East London Location on 02 Dec 2017

Incredible, I'm new to immersive theater and a little scared that I have started with the best one! It was a fantastically different experience. I learnt so many quirky things about the era, it really came to life with the music, actors and location.

I had an awesome time at the last Partygeek event. The venue was incredible and the creativity was beyond belief. The mariachi band were highly entertaining playing well into the morning. Stoked for HomeFront.

Went to their Day of the Dead Feast - lot's of cheeky escape room/hidden history/immersive antics to tie up the adventure! And full of fabulous fun! LOVE that they're back in London.
