Christmas. 2017. Mildred’s abandoned cottage.

A silent night in the heart of the English countryside, five women brought together by fate are determined to enjoy what could be their last Christmas, and they’re celebrating this one in style! With the odds against them the girls must improvise; food is in short supply, certain death is waiting in the shadows and no-one can remember when they last wore fresh knickers. The decorations are up, the ‘turkey’ is cooking and a stranger in red is on their way…

Excellent. Really enjoyed this, unusual 'Christmas' show. Very well written, funny and entertaining. So refreshing to watch an all female cast perform something that does not feature men, and - perhaps more importantly - hardly refers to men at all, and does not make their absence a main feature of the storyline. Well done DollyGrip. Sally visited The Bread & Roses Theatre on 20 Dec 2016

Extremely funny, written with Witt & beautifully interpreted. A true representation on how women get through situations together. Produced, directed, written & acted by a competent group of young women who are obviously going to go from strength to strength with Dollygtip Productions.
