Olympic cyclist Laura Kenny worked with JUMP e-bikes to design a week of free adult group cycle lessons with Cycle Confident. The classes will be run by Cycle Confident in London using the JUMP e-bikes and led by Cycle Confident instructors.
The lessons will be on-road guided rides starting from outside Highbury Leisure Centre (N5 1RR) close to Highbury and Islington station and will take place every night from Monday 25th November until Friday 29th November, with two lessons of 8 taking place from 6-7pm and again at 7-8pm.
The lessons will be hosted on JUMP’s e-bikes, celebrating 6 months of JUMP in the capital, and will be facilitated by Cycle Confident instructors. In London, more than 800 electric JUMP bicycles are available to rent in Islington, Camden and Kensington & Chelsea with plans to expand to other boroughs very soon.
The lessons will run for one hour each in duration. JUMP bikes and helmets will be provided. Please be aware - this event is for adults who can already cycle and are looking to gain confidence and skills riding on the road.
Participants will need to download the Uber app and agree to all relevant Terms and Conditions prior to the commencement of a lesson. Promotional codes will be provided at the beginning of the lesson to secure the free ride.
Although the classes have been created by Laura, please note she will not be present on the day.

I accept that the instructors may remove me from the group if my behaviour compromises my own safety or the safety of others. The instructors may also refuse to train me if my behaviour or ability level is deemed to be unsuitable.

I understand that having taken training it does not necessarily follow that it is safe for me to ride a cycle. To become proficient takes much more practice than lessons of this kind can provide.

I understand that occasionally it may be necessary to take images of those undertaking cycle training and that they may be used for publicity purposes.
