Pauline Boty was a founding member of the British Pop Art movement and one of its very few women. A contemporary of David Hockney at the Royal College of Art in Kensington, she memorably appeared alongside Sir Peter Blake, Peter Philips and Derek Boshier in Ken Russell's legendary BBC Monitor film Pop Goes the Easel.

As well as her work as an artist, she appeared on the stage, TV and in film, including in Alfie with Michael Caine.

Yet she died tragically young at the age of 28 in 1966. Largely forgotten by the 1970s, her ground-breaking work has in more recent decades been rediscovered by a whole new generation of artists and writers.

Join Marc Kristal, the author of a definitive new biography, in conversation with long-standing Boty admirer Travis Elborough, as they explore the life and legacy of this pioneering pop artist, actor and feminist campaigner.

I'm writing this on behalf of Artists for Gaza. We did not consent for this listing. The information is outdated and the ticket link is not going to the right platform. Our ticket sale is £35 and not £50 so please go to our website www.artistsforgaza.org.uk to get your cheaper ticket. We have contacted Design My Night to flag this.

While the tour by Dr Green was very well presented and interesting, the little scenes in between were incredibly poorly planned and rehearsed, to comical effect, but below expectations at this price point. We were also expecting more than one small cup of hot chocolate halfway through the freezing cold tour, as the ticket cost of £35 is definitely on the high side for a packed group like this. We still enjoyed the tour itself, but expected a lot more.
