On 8th September, Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair will be welcoming Levison Wood and Alex Bescoby for a special Explorer Talk.
Levison Wood is a world-renowned explorer, bestselling author, photographer and television presenter, renowned for his epic expeditions across the globe, including walking the entire length of the River Nile, traversing the Himalayas and crossing the Caucasus. A Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and The Explorers Club, he is also a UNICEF Ambassador.
Joining him is award-winning filmmaker, author and broadcaster Alex Bescoby FRGS, best known for retracing the legendary First Overland expedition by driving a 1955 Land Rover 22,000km from Singapore to London. His work has uncovered forgotten stories from across Southeast Asia and been broadcast on Channel 4, Sky History, Apple TV, the BBC and Discovery.
Together, Levison and Alex will share stories from their extraordinary expeditions, discuss the realities of modern exploration.
Guests arrive from 6:40pm, before the talk kicks off at 7pm.
