I really enjoyed this class, I have been twice and brought different friends, but it would be fun on your own as well. The music is brilliant and the lesson is great. I do a lot of 'normal' yoga and this flow is funky, you get a good work out and you still feel stretched and happily chilled at the end. I think the class is mindful of all the different skill levels and really just so much fun. Yoga can be a bit precious and this is honest, easy to follow, in a Proper disco bar and the price includes a cocktail!?!? It's busy every time I've been so there is a good party vibe. The teacher and Dj are very friendly and helpful and stay After for a drink and a chat. There are loos you can change in but usually no one bothers! Mats are also provided. I hope it continues. Great yoga and awesome tunes. I loved the glitter bar & felt fantastic shimmering in downward dog to a Jackson Five banger! Great touches which make you feel special :) My coconut shell cocktail finished it off perfectly. You ladies both rock. I will be back. Rowena visited Trapeze on 04 Jun 2016

I loved Disco Yoga! I've done a few yoga classes and I have to say Sarah is the BEST teacher I've ever had. Clear, concise instructions with a friendly accessible delivery. Great moves and the impromptu dance party was perfect to let off some steam after a stressful day. The DJ Rosie AKA DJ Darlo picks the greatest tunes and also gets involved from behind the decks. To be honest I was so impressed I've booked her to play at a private party for me. Go Disco Yoga team! You guys are the best! Jessie visited Trapeze on 21 Nov 2016

Oh what a night!!!!! Disco yoga is a movement revelation and a fun night out for all levels of yogis and for those who simply like to move to great music and let go!!! The event starts with a sprinkle of sparkle at the glitter bar followed by a warm welcome from the DY crew and then the music takes over.....!!! I practice alot of yoga but the music and its almost club like feel helped me to literally get lost in it and the movement...the class moves at a good pace with regular dance breakouts and a real feeling of community within the room. I loved the effort that people had gone to to embrace the disco theme in their outfits and all in all there was a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend Disco yoga to anyone looking for a great night out!! See you on the mat! Namaste...

LOVE IT! Disco Yoga is the perfect way to lose your inhibitions and enjoy your body - it also sneakily get's you moving into positions that might be intimidating in a regular yoga studio. It's a great way to start yoga if you haven't tried it before . And especially with the BEST Disco tunes to move to. I really love Sarah's tone with the class, she brings a warm and playful energy that encourages you to let go and enjoy. Great value for money considering there's also a glitter station and you get a cocktail/mocktail at the end! I highly recommend to give it a go.

I have tried various yoga classes over the years, but as much as I enjoyed them, I always found the tone a bit too serious & worthy. This class takes the relaxing and focusing elements of yoga, but makes it more playful and fun with disco music and the general vibe being to not take it too seriously. If this sounds like it will suit you definitely check it out. I think it's especislly a good fit if you have never taken a yoga class before. I have gone a few times now and always look forward to coming back. And the price is pretty reasonable considering it includes a cocktail or mocktail (which are Also really well made) Paula visited Trapeze on 01 Sep 2016

I enjoyed the night but agree with the comments below. Although the music was great and the instructor very enthusiastic, something didn't quite work. There were far too many people in the room, we were crammed in like sardines! You had to be careful with your feet and arms, as you were likely to hit someone by accident. The night was good, a nice vibe and everyone was really friendly. The only downfall was that there was very limited space, and where my mat was located i was next to the wall so kept bashing my arm. Apart from that, if they had less people, i would definitely go again! natashapowick visited Trapeze on 20 Jan 2017

I really enjoyed the disco yoga session. It was great fun and had a great vibe. I would describe it as a basic yoga class with disco music in the background. I was expecting something perhaps more upbeat, unique with more dance/ disco moves so I suggest they need to work on this. Although the space is large, the mats are very close together and packed tightly. With a bit more thought and effort it could be a cool offering. Umniya visited Trapeze on 15 Jan 2017

I love the idea of Disco Yoga, but I think the Disco Yoga Crew still need some work on their program. The flow isn't quite right yet, and for someone that does a good amount of yoga, I felt like I had never taken a yoga class in my life - something about the instructions was weird, possibly because they didn't use accurate terms in order to make it accessible for everyone. I wasn't a huge fan of the playlist either, it's missing a good flow and just didn't give me that pumped disco feeling. I think this could be a great thing, but it needs time. And until that time comes, the price tag is excessive. tizia visited Trapeze on 05 Jan 2017

Lots of fun and not too serious! Probably one of the best yoga classes I've been to. A good pace, some fun disco moves, and the cocktail/mocktail afterwards is a nice touch too! Vikki visited Trapeze on 08 Jan 2017

Such a fun night - one of the best things I've done in London of a Saturday evening. Will be telling all my friends. Perfect balance of dancy, playful fun vibes, yet still zen and mindful yoga practice with good beginner to intermediate level of practice. Thanks so much to Rosie and Sarah, the Hot Yoga Society team and the lovely yoga inspired cocktail bar for making it so enjoyable!!! Sadhbh visited Trapeze on 26 Nov 2016

I attended Disco yoga and I am converted! Sarah the instructor has a great energy. I have tried classic yoga, hot yoga, sky yoga and now disco yoga. A must try for anyone who loves experimenting with different types of yoga, disco music, mocktails, face paint and glitter!

I can't believe that I didn't do this before !! Disco Yoga is the best yoga I have ever done - it has dance sessions (we had two because we were such a great group hehe) !! The atmosphere, the DJ and the instructor were all really good - we had a little glitter station stop to get us into the mood and it most definitely did. And the cocktail afterwards was amazing, in a pepper cup for the summer theme. Will do it again for sure as soon as they are back in September :) Ipek visited Trapeze on 01 Aug 2016

I'm not one to enjoy most forms of exercise, but Disco Yoga was SO much fun and a decent work out/stretching session. Still relaxing and energising, the disco music and vibe just made the experience even more enjoyable, and with such a lovely instructor too. The free cocktail afterwards too is definitely a big bonus!! Naomi visited Trapeze on 01 Jul 2016

Disco Yoga is going to be THE new thing. All the benefits of a great yoga class, but with a relaxed, engaging and FUN instructor, and brilliant music everyone can sing (or dance...while in Warrior 2 pose) along too. Oh, and at the end you get a cocktail! Now this is my kind of yoga! Melissa visited Trapeze on 27 Jun 2016

Disco Yoga is brilliant fun, the DJ Rosie was ON POINT with the disco tunes and the sound system was good so the quality was great without having to be too loud. (except for a brief power cut following the glitter cannon explosion -may or may not have been related!) Donna Summer 'I feel Love' was the slow build to an hour of great yoga 'flow' style lead by Sarah who kept everyone moving and stretching in time to the music. Really fab work out, totally feel good, slightly silly yoga fun - I feel love, and I can also feel my abs aching! ;) Rosie visited Trapeze on 24 May 2016
