Loved this! Awesome yoga, great music and really delicious (‘superfood’) cocktails after. Brilliant party atmosphere - glitter station puts everyone in the mood for a good time and the yoga is a fab workout (you don’t notice the exercise too much as the music helpfully distracts you, though it’s no walk in the park!). Totally recommended! Visited Trapeze on 2018-02-20

Really fun evening, I felt like I had a real stretch out but in a fun relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed the dance at the end and relaxation to ... that song from Romeo and Juliet. Would and have already recommend it. Visited Trapeze on 2018-02-20

Tuesday afternoon... Me: "I'm going to disco yoga tonight with some colleagues" Mate: "How do those words even make sense in the same sentence...?" Wednesday morning... Me: "I have absolutely no idea but for some reason doing the YMCA after a downward dog was very liberating" Mate: "Sweet, may have to give it a go" Me: "...bring leggings" Visited Trapeze on 2017-10-31

Disco yoga is the answer to shake the bad vibes away from a stressful working week. I have tried many different types of yoga, & this class lead by a dynamic and enthusiastic instructor who leads the vinyasa flow class alongside funky curated disco beats does the trick! I like how the class is open to all levels, i brought a friend with me who doesn't practice yoga and she left feeling energised being able to manage the class in a fun & approachable way, this is what yoga is all about. It is what you make of it, and the fun elements of glitter and a nice superfood cocktail to finish just makes the experience something to remember. I'm definitely going to return, this class is AWESOME!! Visited Trapeze on 2017-02-15

Very polite and welcoming. Glitters available which is fun. But realistically, this is not yoga. It was a more like a repetitive half sun salutations which shaking hands. All the mats are stuck to each other and you have a choice of hitting the person next to you or smelling the feet of the person in front of you when doing downward dog. The teacher is nice, but absolutely not paying attention to positions, or movement. Few people were just texting or chatting away. Then you lie down for 10minutes with lights outs. Quite boring. Had a great evening at disco yoga last week with a mate. The glitter station is a good idea and the yoga is a lot of fun. No experience is needed and Sarah is a good teacher. I will be back but not every week as it's quite pricey. Trapeze is a great location and it was nice having the cocktail in the bar afterwards. Visited Trapeze on 2017-04-11

Wonderful! They have a GLITTER STATION so you start by getting rid of the afterwork doldrums by becoming super sparkly, then the friendly gorgeous hosts lead you through a brilliant uplifting (but still occasionally strenuous!) routine, and to finish you get a v tasty cocktail in the bar upstairs. I took a friend for a birthday present and we had a really fantastic evening. I do occasional yoga classes and wasn't sure how the disco vibe would work but now I can't imagine going back to 'normal' yoga! Sarah has a fantastic energy and we had a lot of fun, everyone was laughing and the hour passed so fast. The music was great, it really helps that the mats are provided so we didn't have to drag them to work and the cocktails were a fun way to finish (I recommend the coconut one!!) Thanks! I really enjoyed this class, I have been twice and brought different friends, but it would be fun on your own as well. The music is brilliant and the lesson is great. I do a lot of 'normal' yoga and this flow is funky, you get a good work out and you still feel stretched and happily chilled at the end. I think the class is mindful of all the different skill levels and really just so much fun. Yoga can be a bit precious and this is honest, easy to follow, in a Proper disco bar and the price includes a cocktail!?!? It's busy every time I've been so there is a good party vibe. The teacher and Dj are very friendly and helpful and stay After for a drink and a chat. There are loos you can change in but usually no one bothers! Mats are also provided. I hope it continues. I loved Disco Yoga! I've done a few yoga classes and I have to say Sarah is the BEST teacher I've ever had. Clear, concise instructions with a friendly accessible delivery. Great moves and the impromptu dance party was perfect to let off some steam after a stressful day. The DJ Rosie AKA DJ Darlo picks the greatest tunes and also gets involved from behind the decks. To be honest I was so impressed I've booked her to play at a private party for me. Go Disco Yoga team! You guys are the best! Visited Trapeze on 2016-11-26

Oh what a night!!!!! Disco yoga is a movement revelation and a fun night out for all levels of yogis and for those who simply like to move to great music and let go!!! The event starts with a sprinkle of sparkle at the glitter bar followed by a warm welcome from the DY crew and then the music takes over.....!!! I practice alot of yoga but the music and its almost club like feel helped me to literally get lost in it and the movement...the class moves at a good pace with regular dance breakouts and a real feeling of community within the room. I loved the effort that people had gone to to embrace the disco theme in their outfits and all in all there was a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend Disco yoga to anyone looking for a great night out!! See you on the mat! Namaste...

LOVE IT! Disco Yoga is the perfect way to lose your inhibitions and enjoy your body - it also sneakily get's you moving into positions that might be intimidating in a regular yoga studio. It's a great way to start yoga if you haven't tried it before . And especially with the BEST Disco tunes to move to. I really love Sarah's tone with the class, she brings a warm and playful energy that encourages you to let go and enjoy. Great value for money considering there's also a glitter station and you get a cocktail/mocktail at the end! I highly recommend to give it a go.

I have tried various yoga classes over the years, but as much as I enjoyed them, I always found the tone a bit too serious & worthy. This class takes the relaxing and focusing elements of yoga, but makes it more playful and fun with disco music and the general vibe being to not take it too seriously. If this sounds like it will suit you definitely check it out. I think it's especislly a good fit if you have never taken a yoga class before. I have gone a few times now and always look forward to coming back. And the price is pretty reasonable considering it includes a cocktail or mocktail (which are Also really well made) Visited Trapeze on 2016-09-22

I enjoyed the night but agree with the comments below. Although the music was great and the instructor very enthusiastic, something didn't quite work. There were far too many people in the room, we were crammed in like sardines! You had to be careful with your feet and arms, as you were likely to hit someone by accident. The night was good, a nice vibe and everyone was really friendly. The only downfall was that there was very limited space, and where my mat was located i was next to the wall so kept bashing my arm. Apart from that, if they had less people, i would definitely go again! Visited Trapeze on 2017-01-24

I really enjoyed the disco yoga session. It was great fun and had a great vibe. I would describe it as a basic yoga class with disco music in the background. I was expecting something perhaps more upbeat, unique with more dance/ disco moves so I suggest they need to work on this. Although the space is large, the mats are very close together and packed tightly. With a bit more thought and effort it could be a cool offering. Visited Trapeze on 2017-01-24

I love the idea of Disco Yoga, but I think the Disco Yoga Crew still need some work on their program. The flow isn't quite right yet, and for someone that does a good amount of yoga, I felt like I had never taken a yoga class in my life - something about the instructions was weird, possibly because they didn't use accurate terms in order to make it accessible for everyone. I wasn't a huge fan of the playlist either, it's missing a good flow and just didn't give me that pumped disco feeling. I think this could be a great thing, but it needs time. And until that time comes, the price tag is excessive. Visited Trapeze on 2017-01-18

I can't believe that I didn't do this before !! Disco Yoga is the best yoga I have ever done - it has dance sessions (we had two because we were such a great group hehe) !! The atmosphere, the DJ and the instructor were all really good - we had a little glitter station stop to get us into the mood and it most definitely did. Disco Yoga is brilliant fun, the DJ Rosie was ON POINT with the disco tunes and the sound system was good so the quality was great without having to be too loud. (except for a brief power cut following the glitter cannon explosion -may or may not have been related!) Donna Summer 'I feel Love' was the slow build to an hour of great yoga 'flow' style lead by Sarah who kept everyone moving and stretching in time to the music. Really fab work out, totally feel good, slightly silly yoga fun - I feel love, and I can also feel my abs aching! ;) Visited Trapeze on 2016-06-09
