Chinese New Year Night - Dinner, Performance, Screening & Party!
‘You’re invited to a very special opportunity to celebrate Chinese New Year and dine in one of London’s best kept secret members’ club, with a special Contemporary Music performance by ANDY LEUNG + WAN PIN CHU, followed by a screening of the classic Oscar-winning Chinese film Crouching Tiger, HiddenDragon by ANG LEE and fabulous after-party on the Roof Terrace.’

Century is delighted to host the celebration of Chinese New year and guests are welcome to visit the Club and explore the large spaces, where there will be a special Chinese New Year dinner menu to mark the occasion, alongside live performance, film screening and after-party on the roof terrace. Century mixologists will also be preparing some special cocktails, so do watch out for the ‘Monkey Magic’! DJ Andy Leung will also be DJing alongside some experimental interactive visuals during the after-party.

Andy Leung is a songwriter, DJ, multi-instrumentalist and music producer.
In 2011, he was the youngest composer commissioned by CAS and the PRS for Music Foundation for New Music 20x12 - to co-compose and perform XX/XY for the Cultural Olympiad 2012. In 2014, he was commissioned by CAS to compose a new electronic workNew Cola Part 1 - featuring erhu player Wan Pin Chu. His new work - New Cola 2016, will be premiered in Feb 2016 in London. He is also recording and producing his debut Mandarin album, due for release in late 2016.
Wan Pin Chu (aka Yunbian Zhu ) is an erhu player and composer for film, television, games and commercials.
Wan is recognised as a versatile performer with rich emotion and virtuosity in his music. He has a wide range of repertoires from traditional and regional Chinese Music to Western Classical Music and even Jazz, Pop and Rock. He has performed in front of a broad range of audiences, including Xi Jinping, President of China, and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. He also scored the music for the film Overheard 3, one of the highest grossing film series in Hong Kong.
