Laura Pannack is an award-winning photographer renowned for her distinctive portraiture and social documentary work. Her work has been showcased extensively in the UK and abroad, including venues such as The National Portrait Gallery, Somerset House, the Royal Festival Hall, and the Houses of Parliament. Much of her work is shot on analogue film, embracing the beauty of imperfections that arise from its unpredictability. She has earned numerous accolades, including the John Kobal Award, Vic Odden Prize, World Photo Press Awards, and the HSBC Prix de la Photographie Prize.
So what’s the plan on the night? We’ll start with Laura sharing the stories behind her work. It’s not just about the photos, but the remarkable tales behind them and the far-flung corners of the globe she’s explored in her quest to capture these narratives. After that, it’s time for a 2 course supper, that’s been matched with Laura’s artistry — don’t ask me how but it’s going to be a feast for the senses. And here’s the exciting twist, we’ll have transformed our dining room into a pop up gallery featuring an exhibition of Laura’s work.
