Description
Vermouth On The Roof
Summer Pop-Up at Ham Yard Hotel
Tuesday 26th July until Sunday 4th September
Ham Yard Hotel’s roof top bar is back this summer, showcasing eight new vermouth based cocktails with hand crafted mixers from the garden, by Bar Manager, Eoin Kenny.
Taking inspiration from traditional Italian aperitivo culture, where friends gather in the early evenings to enjoy flavourful drinks over a selection of antipasti, the cocktails have been designed to stimulate appetite and open up the palate. Alongside the cocktails there will be a some small antipasti bites, balancing the bitter, complex flavours of vermouth.
Each of the eight cocktails are focused around the produce harvested from the roof-top garden using hand-crafted homemade recipes such as Ham Yard citrus-ade and rooftop Jasmine sugar. The menu will showcase Regal Rogue, a native botanical vermouth from Australia; Belsazar handcrafted vermouth from Germany; and Vermouth del Professore and Contratto from Italy.
Awakening the senses, Ham Yard Hotel’s leafy roof-top garden is abundant with blooming meadow flowers, ancient olive trees and raised herb beds, the perfect setting for summer evening cocktails.
