Ever thought about a night of Shuffleboard? The chances are, probably not. And that’s why you should come. The London Shuffle Club is opening its doors to give Londoners the chance to try their hand at Shuffleboarding, the classic American game that is taking Brooklyn and Miami by storm.
Shuffleboarding can be dated back as far as Henry VIII and is like a mash up between ten pin bowling and curling, only with better shoes (you can wear what you want). The game’s appeal is in just how easy it is - anyone can take it up after a quick tutorial and it won’t take long before you feel like you’re good enough to go pro.
Setting up shop in a recently-renovated industrial space in Shoreditch, with 8 Shuffleboard Courts, 2 Bars and Food Court serving Americana inspired food and classic cocktails.
Come early, learn the rules and pass the time on an exclusive 22ft table Shuffleboard, enjoy a drink or two, hear some disco tunes and then hit the court and push some discs.
Lane Hire costs £40 per hour, with no limit on the number of players-though we suggest 2-8 people for the best experience.
