Great evening all in all. Loved the venue. Met some fun people. Would do it again but left hungry. However I thought a band with some dancing after would top it off.. Visited The Yard on 2015-09-23

Great atmosphere and food tasty although I left hungry sadly. Venue perfect! Staff friendly and service outstanding. Music was disapponting, very quiet. I had a preconceived idea that there was going to be good music after. However all in all great concept and lovely evening. Visited The Yard on 2015-09-23

Great setting, yummy food and friendly staff. Loved the crayfish but I wasn't blown away by a couple of the other courses. Wrap up, it's a touch chilly as outside :) Visited The Yard on 2015-08-05

Tasty food, friendly staff and lovely setting - very good night. We expected more ambience or live music to make us stay longer and liven things up. Great crowd and would recommend to others. Wrap up warm as it's all outside. Visited The Yard on 2015-09-21

Fantastic night! Amazing food, especially loved the stuffed jalepinos and Dr Pepper ribs! Great setting with communal tables, music and fairy lights, really added to the ambience of New Orleans. Would recommend Visited The Yard on 2015-08-12

Great setting, atmosphere and friendly staff. Nowhere near enough food for the price so felt very short changed. Was only given a pepper, and one small rib so was still hungry until we got to dessert. Should make BYO as purchased wine was not great. Like the idea, just massively overcharged. Good food and reasonably priced drinks. Servers were a bit distant but I think they just wanted to enjoy their own evening which I don't mind given it isn't a full restaurant. Would recommend but there could be some small improvements before it's a 5*. Certainly no shortage of food as other reviews mention - I was stuffed. Visited The Yard on 2015-07-30

I was thinking the portions were small and then the chef came round and topped everyone up! Happened at least twice. Good cocktails. Nice staff. We're going back for sure. Visited The Yard on 2015-07-28

Great menu, fun staff, nice cocktails! Portions could have been a little bigger, especially since waiting times between courses are pretty long. They also advertised New Orleans style music (jazz, blues, soul etc) but not much of that. And where were the Maardi Graas beads!? Would still reccomend it though!

Came here on a date night. Had a really warm welcome and the food and cocktails were all really yummy. Although each course in itself was small, by the end we were really full and they also kept coming out with more that they had left in the kitchen. My boyfriend really loved the ribs - they were awesome. Staff were all really friendly. Our only complaint is that we were so full afterwards that moving was a bit of an issue!

Super evening - vibrant atmosphere, fun and helpful waiting staff. The fab chefs were also mingling between all their hard work. Favourite courses - Dr Pepper ribs and stuffed peppers and have to mention the potent Hurricane cocktail!! Considering going again :)

A really enjoyable evening, if a little slow. The food was good and plentiful but the gumbo was nothing like any gumbo I ever had in NOLA. The chilli poppers were the highlight.

Excellent meal especially the ribs and mud pie dessert, the staff were brilliant and very helpful. Great atmosphere and venue, if a little difficult to find. Would definitely go again.

Every course was delicious. Wenny's Big Mamma Gumbo was the highlight. Was concerned about portions before the chef came around and topped everyone up! Super atmosphere. Awesome experience! Requests for next time: Could use a less sweet cocktail option :-).

What a great pop up, cool venue behind a very unprepossessing door and the food was great, the ribs especially. With the Prosseco flowing at £15 a bottle we couldn't have asked for more really!!

Had an amazing time at this pop up, it's super chilled, the food was delish. Most amazing chocolaty missippii mud pie! They also had a make your own coffee stand which I thought was quite cool and I hadn't seen that before. Really cool venue too, felt really back street and urban. Ideal for a fun night out with friends!

We had a really nice evening here. Drinks were good prices, staff were lovely and food was nice but there just wasnt enough of it! Not so much of a new orleans, cajun vibe which is a shame as they could have made much more of the theme but still enjoyable. Book with friends, drink lots and go for the novelty. If you're a real foodie and in Brighton, try pop restaurant ISAAC. Absolute top notch chef, less pretentious and proud to host you and cook you his food. This guy makes cooking an art form and the proof is in the pudding. - Literally!

Really loved my night here, the food was great and so was the atmosphere. 5 courses are very reasonable priced, something a little different that an average night in a restaurant. Have written a full review here http://www.thesquirrelsnuts.org/#!PO’-Boys-New-Orleans-Pop-up-night/c1unu/55a3da1f0cf24f011b5cebf6 Would highly recommend this night!

I have been recommending this night to everyone since I went! Drinks are really well priced and the 5 courses are delicious. Love the smoked sausage gumbo! For £35 it's a bargain

The venue was really great and the drinks were flowing (prosecco magnums for £30 - great!)...food was good but not the best, lacked soul! But we really enjoyed the night, thank you so much.

SO. GOOD. The venue is super cool, the food was proper tasty and dripped in at a perfect pace, just like the service overall. Great fun. I'd happily have paid more for this experience.

Delicious food and great atmosphere - cheesy stuffed jalapenos, bbq ribs, gumbo - all the best American deep south flavours! Fab presentation as well - all round a great evening - highly recommended!
