Oh, but this is so much more than simply a screening! Held in the iconic main auditorium of the Cinema Museum in Kennington, you can expect:
🎁 Prizes for the best Christmas Jumper
🍹 Mulled cider and a bar
🌯 Crepes & galettes brought to you by L'Amuse Bouche (syrup, anyone?)
🍬 Buddy's sweet stall
🎅 A raffle that will put the elves at Santa's workshop to shame
🎄 Christmas games
❤️ A guaranteed spot on the nice list this year, as all profits raised from the night will go towards South London Cares Winter Wellbeing project, keeping older people across Southwark and Lambeth keep warm, active, healthy and connected during the colder months.

About Winter Wellbeing: South London Cares' annual Winter Wellbeing project has been designed to ensure that a community infrastructure is in place to support the most isolated older neighbours across our patch during the toughest time of year. For the next six months our Outreach team will speak to hundreds of people over 65, host community events, distribute clothing and blankets, help people keep the heat on, refer neighbours for additional support and connect them to our activities – all to help older neighbours stay warm, active, healthy and connected during the winter months. Last year, we offered support to 1,420 older people in Southwark and Lambeth, delivered 277 warm items to people who felt cold in their homes, held 77 winter social clubs and recorded 1,333 older neighbour attendances at our events

About Elf: After Buddy (Will Ferrell) inadvertently finds out that he is in fact a human, not an elf, he decides to travel to New York in search of his father with increasingly chaotic results. Directed by: Jon Favreau | Starting: James Caan, Zooey Deschanel, Will Ferrell, Bob Newhart | Year: 2003 | Length: 97 mins | Country: USA | Certification: (PG) | Format: BluRay

South London Cares
South London Cares is a community network of young professionals hanging out with their older neighbours in Southwark and Lambeth. Our group Social Clubs, Love Your Neighbour friendship matching scheme, proactive Outreach and Community Fundraising bring people together to celebrate the people and places that make our city great. Our aims are to: - Reduce isolation and loneliness amongst older people and young professionals alike; - Improve the connection, confidence, skills, resilience and power of all participants so neighbours can feel part of our changing city rather than left behind by it; - Bring people together to reduce the gaps across social, generational, digital, cultural and attitudinal divides.
