Dirty Laundry, will be London’s most enigmatic pop-up launderette experience where guests are invited to air their confessions and wash their dirty laundry at the Laundromat as they immerse themselves in the heyday of 1950’s Italian-Americana. Dirty Laundry will launch on Tuesday June 23rd and run for five nights only.

Specially modified washing machines have been created which will wow and delight guests as they watch their Italian inspired laundry cocktails tumble and mix before being sipped out of customized detergent bottles, guests can delight in alcoholic jelly ‘liqui-tabs’ and Italian Menabrea Birra lemon and basil floats in the pop-up dolce vita setting.

Secrets will be revealed to the charismatic launderette host Signorina Bubbles, as guests snack on
Italian-American favorites such as classically authentic pizza and Italian arancini.

As well as DJs, London’s most unique retro instant Polaroid photo booth and the chance to flirt with Marco, the dedicated pizza delivery boy, guests will have the opportunity to air their dirtiest of laundry by having their confessions printed onto a Dirty Laundry T-Shirt.

We are offering table bookings for a minimum of 10 people at a price of £50 per person that include:

-Entrance (normally £15)

-Reserved seating

-Sharing arrival cocktail or beer (for the boys!)

-Aperitivo Platters

-Personal Social Polaroid Cameras for the evening

-If it’s less than 10 people it’s just £500 for the booth.

We had a giggle and the staff were amazing! Despite it being so warm (us Brits are never happy with the temperature!) the staff were smiley and served us wonderfully - they must have been boiling!! The 'Pant Painter' was particularly lovely. Drinks were delicious and the liquitabs were hilarious. All in all a brilliantly different night out. Thank you! x

it was a lovely concept - great place and yes, was quite hot! wish we could have stayed longer! The cocktails were lush (and yes strong) i don't normally like Campari but whatever that cocktail was - it was yum!. I loved how you poured them from the washing machine!! wish we had a t-shirt done and got to the photo booth, just a shame we were so pushed for time!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We wish you could have stayed longer too! Yes we did manage to pick the hottest week of the year- some would say this could be likened to a Laundrette in Full Swing! We're glad you enjoyed our specially designed Campari Cocktails. We very much hope to see you at our next pop up (maybe you can stay longer next time)! Ohlala and The Washerettes

Not sure this was hugely worth it. Ridiculously hot, and the concept was a little forced! The execution of the cocktails was fun though - washing machines & soap containers - as were the polaroids downstairs!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review we really appreciate your time. Yes we did manage to pick what turned out to be the hottest week in the year- unfortunately we didn't have much control over this apart from bringing in extra fans to try and cool the venue down. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed our specially designed cocktails and Polaroid cameras we hope you went away with some good shots! Once again thank you for taking the time to let us know your feedback. All the best, Ohlala and The Washerettes

This was a good night. The cocktails were good but very strong. Cheesy music was good. I agree that the room was very hot and stuffy.lt was a fun night though.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. We certainly did pick, what ended up being, the hottest week- and we completely understand that this could have been uncomfortable. Super pleased to hear you liked the cheesy music and you had a fun night! We very much hope to see you at our next pop up- Ohlala and The Washerettes

Very fun place, excellent food. Great concept incorporating the laundry theme into the cocktails. although not the best idea for a warm night was quite hot in there as there was no aircon.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to let us know your feedback. We are thrilled that you enjoyed our specially designed laundry cocktails. We did manage to pick, what turned out to be, the hottest week which, unfortunately we had little control over (Aside from bringing in extra fans). We do very much hope to see you at our next pop up! Loved this event! It was a really fun and different night out, I hadn't actually thought the drinks would be mixed in the washing machines but they were - so cool!! And the staff and DJ were great. Highly recommended!

The concept was great, and well executed. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and made our group feel very welcome. The polaroid camera and props downstairs were a big hit. Food and drinks were fantastic. The only issue (and this was quite a big issue) is the heating situation. Just one fan and no air conditioning made this the hottest venue I think I've ever been to. Uncomfortably so.

The write up and advertisement for this event sounded like it was THE place to be. But it was far from it. The venue was small and sparsely decorated, my husband and i traveled from Essex to this event. We didn't even bother collecting our included ticket price cocktails. It was so hot in the building, none of the washing machines where working, no music playing, just woman on a microphone that was so muffled it sounded like an illegal nigh club DJ. I have been to better organized house parties, what a waste of £30, and that's with out the cost of getting to London in the first place. If i was meant to pay money on the door of the venue and collect my ticket instead of purchasing it online, i would have turned up and then walked away money in hand.

Hello- Thank you for taking the time to write a review, sadly it seems you just happened to arrive as our resident Host Signorina Bubbles was reading out our guests confessions! During this time the Washing Machines would have been temporarily paused and our lovely DJ would have briefly stopped the music. We would of loved if you'd have taken advantage of your complimentary drink so you could have seen all these elements swing quickly back into 50's action. We understand it was a super hot week- something we have limited control over, and we appreciate that it could of been uncomfortably warm. We hope you still had a fantastic evening in London. I was not impressed. I expected a lot more. I do not see the point in paying the £15 compared to the £5. You did not get any extra for your money besides a drink which you would have paid £8:50 for. There was no entertainment. Once the novoilty factor of the washing mamchines wore off it become boring. The staff were anazing. Great service, although my issue is with the ticket pricing and vaule of money. There are so many free pop ups offering more and events such as alice in underground or heart break hotel in which offer vaule of money, and keep you entertained. Upon when leaving wanting to tell everyone how amazing it was. I did not get that experience here. Good idea. Although I do not think you should charge. And if you do, you should offer something for it. We left and headed to udderbelly for the rest of the night. Leaving feeling disappointed.

Hello, We really appreciate the time you've taken to review Dirty Laundry. Thank you so much for your comments about the staff we will ensure we pass this on to them. We are sad to hear it didn't meet your expectations or suit your taste in Pop Ups. The difference in ticketing comes down to an earlier restricted entrance. We discounted the normal £15 entry price to £5 for entry between 5pm-7pm only (which of course didn't include a complimentary cocktail). We are lucky to have such a vast amount of pop ups in London varying from bars to restaurants to fully immersive shows (for example Alice in Underground). "Dirty Laundry" was a pop up bar with interactive elements found in the photo booth, t-shirt/ pant making and washing machine cocktails as well as our DJ (to name a few). Once again thank you for your time I and feedback-we hope you had a great time at Udderbelly. Ohlala and the Washerettes

It was a fun event- the concept was great but I think it could have done with some finessing...for e.g. only a few of the many washing machines were used for the cocktails...the venue was quite small and stuffy (no aircon just a fan) options on the menu were not available, the seats & tables weren't in keeping with the theme and seemed a little odd. I did expect more for the money I paid to get in (£15) but it was an interesting experience.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Dirty Laundry we appreciate your feedback. We're so pleased you liked the concept of the event and our tumbling cocktails- unfortunately pulling apart and adapting more of the machines was not feasible for this event. We did indeed manage to pick, what ended up being, the hottest week and can completely understand that this may have been uncomfortably warm. We do hope you managed to enjoy our free Polaroid booth, vodka spray shots and see our t-shirt and pant designer in action. We very much hope to see you at our next pop up. Ohlala and The Washerettes

Fun night! Hosts were dressed up in really funky outfits that suited the theme brilliantly. Cocktails were good value at £8.50 each. Would recommend the detergent cocktails great value for money and you can make it as strong or as weak as you like. well worth a visit. :-)
