Jury Duty is a groundbreaking online immersive game. Look at the evidence, search an online database for clues and interrogate a defendant live! Can you uncover the truth?

A fire. A dead man. A guilty plea for arson, but not for murder. The truth must come out.

Under the Justice Act (2020), you have been summoned as a remote juror for a new kind of online trial. You and your fellow jurors must review the evidence, speak to the accused, and come to a conclusion. Is he guilty or not guilty? And is there more to this case than meets the eye?

How will you find the accused?

Experienced over Zoom with strangers or with friends in a private booking, Jury Duty is Exit Productions' first online experience and the first show from Jury Games. Best played with a computer or laptop handy, during the show players will be teamed up with other jurors and challenged to unscramble the case. The experience is one hour and forty five minutes long.

First of all, I need to appreciate communication from the whole team before an event about some unclear points, they were very approachable and friendly. The game itself is quite well though-trough with an interesting storyline. The dynamic of the game in the first half is very good. In the second half it is getting a bit slower and it would benefit more from a moderator of some kind, because it is sometimes hard to track who is doing (or not doing) what. Which brings me to the last point - the fun factor seems very dependent on people, who will join (well, quite obviously- you are one team). We have been lucky to have a good group of participants, majority of them were quite active all evening, thus we got really far. However, if there would be more passive bunch (and you can't really choose them), then I think it would be worth only 3,5 star. Finally, I would like to appreciate very decent price for the nearly two hours of fun, it is quite cheap if you will take into account a level of interactivity and some technical aspects team put together in order to make game fun. If you are bored in Lockdown, I would deffo recommend this as an activity, which you should go to.
