Cat Lovers are hosting a one off NEW YEARS EVE DISCO SPECIAL at Dalston’s HYSTERIA!

Spread over two floors, we have some of the most exciting names in modern day disco providing the perfect soundtrack to see in 2014.

We’ll also have disco themed surprises from THE PEOPLE PILE - the alt-theatre collective with a penchant for interactive performance and dance.

Plus! We’ll be dressing the venue in homage to the great New York and Philly venues of the 70s, from which the genre takes its name. Think DISCO BALLS.

Dead Rose Music Company (Let’s Play House / WOLF Music)
Emerging from a shadowy, fictitious narrative he himself crafted in 2010, DRMC has quickly risen to be one of the most sought-after talents on today’s circuit. So far, DRMC has made records for a handful of lauded imprints; Let’s Play House, WOLF, Kolour, Sleazy Beats, Whiskey Disco and House of Disco and so it’s easy enough to gather that this selection of cuts is just the tip of the iceberg for this already prolific producer.

The Reflex (GAMM / Moton)
The Reflex is a producer / DJ who specializes in edits and remixes, mostly done from the original master tapes. Twenty years of DJing, record digging and producing resulting in head-turning reworks that have caught the attention of a massive and wide range of DJ’s around the world including Dimitri From Paris, Mousse T, Gilles Peterson, Ashley Beedle, Kon, Danny Krivit, Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco, Nightmares On Wax, Bill Brewster, Bottin...and many more, all in just a over a year.

Ghosts Of Venice (Defected / Strictly Rhythm) - Classic Disco Set!
With past support from Pete Tong amongst others, 2013 has seen the release of new single “My Love”, a collaboration with Josh Jakq, through Italy’s La Valigetta label as well as remixes coming up for Lemaitre and Queen of Hearts. Throw brand new material and partnerships in with some world famous labels showcasing a side of Ghosts Of Venice few have seen into the mix and the close of the year is set to be an intriguing one. Watch this space.

James Hoste and Friends
Holding down residencies at some of London most prestigious members clubs since 2009, while also regularly playing across London's east end, alongside with several UK festivals James' versatility has enabled him to play to a vastly different mix of crowds. Playing a mix of house and disco whilst occasionaly dropping into motown, hip-hop and quirky edits, the focus is always kept on melody and groove. He brings with him a small army of DJ’s he’s picked up along the way.

Cat Lovers and Friends
Cat Lover's very own residents at the forefront of disco and house, Cat Lovers host the last Saturday of the month at Queen Of Hoxton.

Staś Werno (Chasing Toulouse)
Cat Lovers resident and part of the Chasing Toulouse roster Staś Werno will be pushing the deeper, house-ier side of the disco spectrum until late.

◁ Hands Yolo
Cat Lovers longest running resident will keep the party vibes going until the early hours with the finest selection of disco and house.
