Rhythm Junction London - a celebration of live vintage music and dance.

Rhythm Junction London is back at the fabulous Tabernacle in Notting Hill for 2018. London’s hep cats are invited to come down for a jam-packed night of swinging rhythms, revelry and jazz spirit.

The event includes a jazz dance lesson from a leading professional vintage dancer Nikki Santilli, who will teach jazz moves that everyone will love, whether an experienced dancer or a complete beginner.

Live music will come from the 12-piece Down for the Count Swing Orchestra, who will be bringing the sounds of the 1930s and 40s back to life with two sets of authentic big band swing and jive classics.

Between sets, DJ Pat da Kat will keep people dancing with a great mix of vintage tunes.

There will be food and drinks available downstairs all evening, and with plenty of seating surrounding the large dance floor so you won’t miss any of the action.

Join us at Rhythm Junction London for a great vintage night out on the town!

Such a lively event, full of fantastic music and dancing! The band (Down for the Count) always create a great fun atmosphere, and as I'm new to swing dancing the lesson at the beginning was great to get in the groove. Thanks for a great night! Visited The Tabernacle on 2018-04-14

Danced hard & fast tonight - mostly pure lindy - to tracks like Jumpin’ at the Woodside, Sing Sing Sing (twice) & jump jive tracks. Thanks to the Down for the Count Swing Orchestra & Pat Da Kat on the decks for laying down some juicy tunes & the wonderful Nikki Santilli teaching some funky jazz shapes to the masses with consummate ease. Top night at Rhythm Junction. 😊 Visited The Tabernacle on 2018-04-14

It was great fun! Very relaxed and friendly. The band was excellent and Nikki did a good class at the beginning. It was my first time at an event like this and I loved the whole experience - will definitely go again. Could do with some fans around the space to cool off. Visited The Tabernacle on 2018-04-14

Call me old-fashioned, but if I were responsible for publicity and marketing I would make the venue address easier to find, rather than having to bore down through several menus to finally discover that it's at 34 Powis Square, W11 2AY ! Here's an idea: how about adding the actual address next to The Tabernacle, beneath Rhythm Junction London right at the top of the page?!

Reply from Rhythm Junction London

Hi Paul, I'm the event organiser - sorry you've had problems finding the address. I wish I could add the address at the top of the page like you suggested but sadly, because of the design of the Design My Night website - which is completely beyond our control - there's nothing I can do about it. However I've added the full venue address at the end of the main text, hopefully that will get updated soon. I hope you're able to join us tomorrow for a great night of live music and dancing, we're looking forward to it!
