Introducing Rhythm Junction London - a brand new one-day festival of live vintage music and dance.
Reviving the glamour of the Swing Era, the festival will feature four of the hottest swing and jive bands in the country. London’s hip cats are invited to come down for a jam-packed day of swinging rhythms, revelry and jazz spirit.
Brought to you by the team from the Down for the Count Swing Orchestra, Rhythm Junction London is taking place at the incredible Round Chapel in Hackney, which for one day only will be transformed into a vintage dance hall. The event will feature over eight hours of live music, and festival-goers will also be able to enjoy fantastic street food from pop-up food wagons and delicious craft beers from local Hackney favourite, Crate Brewery.
Live music is at the heart of the festival. The carefully selected line-up of artists covers many eras of vintage dance music from the 1920s to the 1950s. You'll hear West Coast swing fromThe Swing Commanders, gypsy jazz from The Kings Cross Hot Club, big band sounds from The Down for the Count Swing Orchestra and jump jive from Kai's Cats.
With support from top swing DJ Pat da Kat and sponsorship from retro fashion brand Vivien of Holloway, Rhythm Junction London calls out for people to get dressed up, dance and have a ball!

Down for the Count Festivals
Down for the Count are a swing band and events organisation team based in North London. They regularly perform for vintage events and dances across the country, and also organise live music nights and festivals.
Venue

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
7. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
8. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
