About the Musicians
EMILY ATKINSON
Emily Atkinson is an American singer based in London. She has recently enjoyed singing Renaissance polyphony with the Tallis Scholars, Haydn songs with Rogers Covey-Crump and Café Mozart, Dowland Airs with Sestina Consort, and Bach cantatas with London’s Sweelinck Ensemble. Emily recently performed the role of Teresa in the world premiere of ‘A Synonym for Love’ (based on Handel’s Clori, Tirsi, e Fileno) with Toronto’s Classical Music Consort and experimental theatre group Volcano Theatre. Her recording of Italian cantatas with Baroque chamber group Concentus VII is forthcoming.
