Brick Lane Jazz Festival makes its debut at the Truman Brewery in April 2022: Three days of jazz music set across five stages, with twenty-four performing artists, the festival will showcase the best of London’s vibrant jazz scene. On Friday 22nd April, Amy Gadiaga will be taking over Ninety One Living Room stage for a unique live performance.

ABOUT AMY GADIAGA

Amy Gadiaga is a Parisian bassist-vocalist, composer and dancer based in London. Amy is currently a student at Trinity Labans Conservatoire of music and Dance where she studies double bass.

Bridging the old school jazz vocalist tradition of musicians such as Betty Carter and Wayne Shorter with the modern bops of artists such as D'Angelo and Kimbra, Amy's band offers energetic performances that celebrate art, freedom and black pride.

She was recently signed to Jazz:Refreshed and is currently working on a jazz EP and several other compositions. She has already performed at the EFG London Jazz Festival and the Jazz Cafe, as well as other festivals, mainly under the Tomorrow's Warrior's umbrella. Amy is now flying solo and has no limits in terms of genres and disciplines practiced and experimented with, ranging from dance performances to looping pedals.

    Dining is a casual affair at Ninety One; drop in for a drink and order something at the bar, or book a more intimate table in the open plan dining area for a meal over a few hours.
