Bass Tone Regeneration: Earth Night by Lin Kam Art with Hive Curates will feature a line-up of DJ’s from groups who are underrepresented in sound system culture, including young people, next generation and women, to celebrate and mark Earth Day.
The event will showcase a unique sound system experience based on the Lin Kam Art values of love, peace, inclusivity, diversity, creativity and joy. The evening will offer an uplifting space for anyone interested in music and the future of our planet, with grassroots DJs providing positive global bass music and future beats.
Drinks will be available to purchase from the roof top bar on the evening.
Plant-based food will be provided by Spring Café.
10% of all proceeds will support DJs for Climate Action and their work.
Lin Kam Art aims to enrich lives through festival culture via takeovers, residencies, workshops, events and programmes. Deeply rooted in community empowerment, this outreach aspect of her socially engaged creative practice engages with thousands of people across all ages each year and ranges from mentoring emerging creatives to taking up space through festival culture. Linett Kamala is a boundary-defying creative, powered by plants, born in Harlesden, London, to Jamaican parents. Kamala is the founder of Lin Kam Art and board director of Notting Hill Carnival.
Earth Night is a fundraising initiative from DJs For Climate Action harnessing the global power of music and nightlife to generate climate action. We use the power of electronic music, its history and community to celebrate the earth. As a celebration, we invite venues, promotors, DJs and dancers to join Earth Night and make it happen locally. Our 7th annual edition will take place over April 18-21, 2024 during the week of Earth Day. This global fundraising event is meant to: raise awareness of climate issues and solutions in the electronic and nightlife space. Raise funds for DJs for Climate Action and our efforts. Raise funds locally through our flagship events worldwide.
This event is a part of the curated programme at Broadworks, a new cultural centre for the City of London. During the evening, there will be a private view for our new exhibition opening in the gallery at 56a Old Broad Street, and an open studios event in our onsite artist’s studios.

Broadworks is a new cultural centre for the City of London. Broadworks has ten onsite affordable studios, a gallery and show space for artists and makers to promote their craft. Broadworks curates a dynamic programme of workshops, exhibitions and events; building on the City’s heritage of craft and enterprise.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
