167Live at The Drury Club, 14th May2015:

Kaleidophone’s Hero in Trouble, The Official Launch

167Live is back at the stunning Drury Club to continue its tradition of bringing the very best live music acts to the London scene. This month celebrates the launch of the latest album, Hero in Trouble, from vibrant rock act and BBC Introducing favourites, Kaleidophone.

Headliners Kaleidophone will be making their 167Live debut as will two of their support acts, making for an even more exciting lineup. Here it is: Celebrating the release of their album, the band meld a torrent of influences from Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin and Depeche Mode to Vampire Weekend, Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club. They have supported acts including The Hoosiers and SPACE and have worked with top producers including Charles Rees, who has worked with Paul Weller, Miles Kane and Amy MacDonald.

Main support act at this 167Live will be the refreshingly different and hotly tipped “next big thing”, festival favourites, Rozelle, who have been receiving a great deal of label interest recently. With strong instrumentals and hauntingly beautiful vocal harmonies, this act is one to see before the tickets are too expensive!

Another act turning heads at BBC Introducing is SKIES, also gracing the Drury Club’s stage at this event. Their alternative synth-pop sound has been hugely well received everywhere they have been performing, and has brought them some great radio airplay too.

Opening this month, and making his much anticipated return to the venue is the talented singer songwriter, Daniel Glover, who will kick off the show in style and set the bar high for the night. His stunning vocals draw in the crowd, who get lost in his lyrics and skilled guitar playing.

The 167Live crowd have become accustomed to discovering some of the cream of musical talent on the live scene at these nights, there is a truly impeccable standard among the acts selected to perform here. The organisers say, “It is such a privilege to see these artists perform on an accessible stage in the heart of London’s Covent Garden. Every month we are wowed.”
