City Nights are a new time-travelling immersive theatre company, recreating the iconic parties of bygone eras. First up is 60s New York.
Become part of the underground art scene from a warehouse in Peckham, transformed into a 60s loft studio, complete with secret rooms, art installations, sculptures and games.

What to expect

Arrive at the warehouse, transformed into an epic 1960s Andy Warhol inspired Silver Factory, where tonight there will be another party.

But first, hang out in the loft with our cast of Superstar characters - from drag queens, writers, bohemians, artists and art collectors. Join their DIY film shoot, sit on the sidelines with a confused journalist from The New Yorker, sip American cocktails, find a hidden artists bedroom and take part in life drawing as the former debutante, now film star Brigid Berlin poses and performs.
There are rumours the landlord will make another visit tonight - but the party guests continue regardless...

The characters

Our immersive theatre show features characters drawn from the real-life art scene of 1960s New York, from Edie Sedgwick, Brigid Berlin, Candy Darling, Nico with more to be revealed...

The experiences

Explore the Silver Factory and take part in art-making experiences from DIY film shoots, life drawing, screen printing, 'Happening' style performances and more.

The bar

Visit 'The Supermarket', our pop-up bar for the night, inspired by 60s American consumer culture. Grab a basket and order a bespoke menu of American cocktails and hang out on aisle 5.

The street

Hang out on our New York City sidewalk, just outside the Silver Factory, grab a bit to eat from a hot dog truck or sip beer outside in the summer sun.

The DJ

Rachael Plays Disco takes over the decks each night. Get your groove on to the Velvet Underground, Nico, queer 60s rock 'n' roll, Black protest music, culminating in some trippy slow-dances.
