Have you ever dreamed of commanding your own Starship?

In Bridge Command, you can do just that. As the bridge crew of your own vessel, you and your team will boldly go where no immersive theatre audience has gone before.

The world of Bridge Command is a terrifying glimpse into a possible future. Earth is dead, the victim of climate catastrophe and societal collapse. Only a fraction of humanity has escaped from its dying home, and the uneasy peace between the survivors is decaying fast. All of the old tensions and rivalries are re-emerging in the face of desperate circumstances. The clock is ticking on the human race.

Awoken early from Cryo-sleep, you have been pressed into service on board a Talavaar-class destroyer. You are thrust into a world of conspiracy and conflict. The Commonwealth Stellar Navy needs you to report for duty.

The bridge is yours.

Fusing gaming technology with theatrical performance, Bridge Command offers a variety of scenarios testing your collective competence in problem solving, diplomacy, bargaining and space combat as you strive to keep your ship operational through a range of trying circumstances and moral issues designed to keep the whole team fully engaged.

Designed for groups of between three and six people, you will each take a Bridge officer role, choosing from Helmsman, Weapons officer, Engineer, Science officer, Communications officer or Captain. Our fully interactive Starship, built almost entirely from recycled materials, will respond to your commands and carry you beyond the final frontier. Between you, you will navigate the big black and try to get everyone home alive.

It is your job to make it so.

EPISODE DESCRIPTIONS.

2114: With Earth rendered uninhabitable, humanity took to the stars. A dream of a new planet, a new dawn, and a new future ahead of them.

2134: There has been no new planet, and no new dawn. Just the empty blackness of space. As for the new future, that is now in your hands.

Episode 1: Talavaar.

Welcome aboard the CNS Talavaar, a powerful warship with a chequered history. As her new crew, you will learn how to operate her various systems and take her out on a proving trial to see what she is capable of. Hopefully, no unexpected trouble will come your way...

IF YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED BRIDGE COMMAND BEFORE THEN START WITH THIS SCENARIO - IT WILL TEACH YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OPERATING THE SHIP AND INTRODUCE YOU TO THE WORLD OF BRIDGE COMMAND - ALL OTHER SCENARIOS WILL ASSUME THAT KNOWLEDGE  ALREADY.

Episode 2: Red Alert.

After the dramatic events of Episode 1, the Commonwealth finds itself on a war footing and the Talavaar is right at the centre of the action. A large-scale fleet battle leaves the Commonwealth in a difficult position, and the crew of the Talavaar must play a part in seeking unlikely friends.

Episode 3: Cargo.

The European Federation and the Shanghai Pact are negotiating a treaty and the Commonwealth are playing honest broker. The crew of the Talavaar must deliver an unusual cargo from one party to the other to seal the deal, but not all is as it seems.

SEASONAL SPECIAL: Morningstar

A Talavaar-class ship has been found floating in space, unresponsive, but all the Talavaar class vessels are accounted for - where has this strange ship come from? Your team will board her and find out.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION

  • Bridge Command is like a live action sci-fi series where you are the hero. We offer multiple episodes, each an hour long, and they are best enjoyed in sequence.
  • We strongly recommend you book "Episode 1: Talavaar" first, as it teaches you how to do everything on board the ship. The other scenarios assume you already have that knowledge, which makes them much harder if you do not.
  • When you book a slot, choose your date and time slot first, and then book tickets for the episode that you would like to experience. Only one episode can run in each  time slot, and we will run whichever episode has the most tickets booked for it. If you want to make sure you experience a particular episode, the best way to do that is to book all six tickets in the slot.
  • Each episode requires a minimum of three participants to run. If you book out all six tickets in a time slot and arrive with fewer than three people, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund.
  • If a slot has fewer than three people booked into it 24 hours before it is due to run, then we will contact those booked in to try and move them into a different slot or offer them a refund.
  • If you have booked fewer than three tickets for a slot, and another group is also booked into that slot and does not turn up in time for the show, then we will attempt to move you into a different slot if possible, or refund you.
  • If you show up late for your slot, or do not show up at all, then you will not receive a refund.
