Slightly mis sold as a wild foraging brunch. In reality was more like a 2 hour guided walk around finsbury park followed by a seemingly totally unrelated standard brunch containing no foraged ingredients in fitzrovia! Service was slow at Mac and Wild and we didn't get the gin masterclass (although they have offered to do this at another time...) Overall James was a nice guide but was not really what we had in mind. Also the brunch at mac and wild was average at best - we didn't eat til 1.30pm after a 10am start... visited Finsbury Park on 03 Jun 2017

James was great - experienced and enthusiastic. But our group was too big to get as much info as we could have. When we got to Mac & Wild, the food was great but the service was incredibly slow, they were either under-staffed or they were undertrained. visited Finsbury Park on 03 Jun 2017

Disappointing- the foraging was fine, but I wouldn't recommend going early in the year, nor in Finnsbury park as there was little to see. The food was good, but a few of the group were kept waiting for a long time and everyone else had finished/my food was cold. There is no excuse for this given they knew the numbers before hand. We also did not get to have our gin masterclass. We understand that the lady delivering it was injured, which is of course fine, but we were not informed until we asked at the end of the meal. We were then promised it would be reorganised, and despite multiple chase emails, I have heard nothing since. Poor service, and such a shame for what looked like a unique and fun event Imogen visited Finsbury Park on 04 Feb 2017

Great event! Excellent food and interesting foraging activity. I would note that the food is not suitable for vegetarians (not a problem for us) and that despite being delicious there wasn't that much information provided on the food while it was served. It is a boozy brunch, so be prepared! Ysabel visited Finsbury Park on 06 Aug 2016

What a fantastic day! Great company and incredible insight delivered by passionate, approachable and accommodating hosts. Unbelievable value for money. Easily the best £40 I've spent in London. Thank you so much Mac & Wild! Max visited Finsbury Park on 02 Jul 2016
