The Marylebone Menu: a 'dinner party with a difference’, will kick off this year's Marylebone Food Festival on Wednesday 24 April. The Marylebone Menu will see some of London's best restaurants and food businesses take 120 guests on a gastronomic journey through Marylebone. Set in the striking, Georgian, Grade II listed St Mary’s Church, tickets are priced at £75 per person and will include seven courses matched with wine, each chosen and introduced by ES Magazine Drinks Columnist, Douglas Blyde, plus music from The Marylebone Music Festival

The seven course dinner will be brought to the table by some of Marylebone's best establishments including Michelin star restaurants Texture and Trishna, celebrated chef Peter Gordon of The Providores, newcomer Xier and local hot spots, Chiltern FirehouseRoux at the Landau and Bernardi's. Famous cheese shop and cafe, La Fromagerie, GAIL's Bakery, Rococo Chocolates and Marylebone Gin will also be taking part. Example courses include: Beef cheek served with cabbage, artichoke crisps, morels and date purée; and grilled asparagus, tamarind Jersey Royals, miso cured duck and yolk. If you have any dietary requirements, please email events@hdwe.co.uk when you have purchased your tickets and these will be accommodated.

Drinks will be flowing courtesy of Marylebone establishments, The Coach Makers Arms, Vinoteca & Le Vieux Comptoir as well as wine merchant, Philglas & Swiggot.

All profits will be donated to Springboard, a charity which helps to reduce unemployment and poverty across the UK, enabling those who experience barriers to employment, achieve their career potential in the hospitality industry.

The Marylebone Food Festival is returning for its second year and will run from 24 to 28 April 2019 celebrating the abundance and variety of food and drink in Marylebone. Following the launch, there will be further events taking place across the area in establishments including Daylesford Organic, Caffe Caldesi, Hoppers, Delamina, 108 Brasserie, Simon Rogan's Michelin star restaurant, Roganic and many more.

A partnership between The Portman Estate and The Howard de Walden Estate, the festival aims to throw the spotlight on the culinary wealth of this pocket of London.
