Rajiv's Kitchen is turning 1! It's our first birthday and to help us celebrate we would love to invite you for a night of food & cocktails. As there is such a wonderful array of Nepalese food we have chosen to unearth 4 courses from the 4 corners of Nepal for you to sample with cocktails to boot.

PRE-STARTER:
Momos: Chicken momos served with sesame and tomatoes chutney.
STARTER:
Bheda & Achaar: Nepalese lamb meatballs served in a bed of spicy eggplant coated with hemp seeds chutney, accompanied by garlic yoghurt & green chutney.

MAIN:
Khasi ko Maasu: Nepalese goat curry, slow cooked with Nepalese herb & spices.
Pahari Maccha: Trout marinated and cooked in Nepalese herbs & spices.
Hyakula: Sticky Lamb ribs, marinated in Nepalese herbs and spices.
Kukhura ko achaar: Spicy & tangy Chicken pickle, Nepalese style. (Served at room temperature)
Farsi ko tarkaari: Nepali Pumpkin curry cooked with mustard, cumin & ghee.
Chukauni: Potatoes & yoghurt salad with sweet red onions, fresh green chillies & coriander, tempered with fenugreek & fenugreek flavoured oil. (Served cold)
Jogi tarkaari: Mixed seasonal vegetable curry.
Kaakro & Gaajar ko achaar: Cucumber & carrot fresh pickle with Shiso seeds.
****Main is served with paratha bread/fragrant rice.

Cardamom infused vanilla ice cream served with summer berries, pomegranate & topped with sesame dust.

(The venue is situated above the best-loved corner shop in Lower Clapton: Palm 2; offering a cozy & relaxed atmosphere.)
Direction: When you enter the Palm2 shop, make your way to the wine section, go out the door (located by wine section) and up the stairs where the venue is.

I am Rajiv and food is my passion - my art is creating a delicious and surprising menu that will overwhelm your every sense. Having been raised in the surroundings of mountains & rivers in Nepal, I grew up using the fresh herbs & spices for cooking that were often obtained through foraging. I started cooking from a very early age due to living in a large extended family. I learned to cook by observing my mom, aunts, uncles & grandma.
Now living in the Big Smoke, I want to share my childhood memories of laughing around the table, munching on spicy & delicious food with my fellow Londoners, the same as I do with my family and friends; hence the birth of Rajiv's Kitchen.
Rajiv's Kitchen is a new friendly supper club in Bethnal Green/Whitechapel, run from our beautiful 1960’s themed lounge.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
