Sainsbury’s is launching hosting masterclasses for first-time festive hosts, so you can have a test run ahead of the big day. Get set for an un-fir-gettable Christmas and ask all your burning questions, as you become the envy of the dinner table.
Did you know that 38% of millennials have never hosted Christmas Day for their family, because they lack confidence in the kitchen?
But fear not, because Sainsbury’s is on hand to help everyone sleigh festive entertaining with the launch of Ho Ho Hosting with Sainsbury’s. Join roast host novice Jamie Laing and Sainsbury’s Festive Chef Tassy Goodall for two hours and experience the ultimate hosting masterclass. For those hoping to crack Christmas ahead of the big day, see Jamie as he prepares to host for the first time as a NewlyWed, while Tassy teaches how to master the art of hosting the perfect seasonal soirée.
Enjoy a festive treat and glass of mulled wine on arrival, before your masterclass officially begins. You’ll learn how to perfect showstopping canapes, master timings to cook up a storm and create impressive Christmas lunch leftovers, making you more than ready for Boxing day dining.
There’s also the chance to ask your biggest festive worries – whether it’s what to serve up for vegetarians, or the best dessert to dish up if your guests aren’t a fan of the traditional Christmas pud.
From Noel Novice to Christmas Connoisseur, it’s time to become the host of Christmas present.
At the end of the session, you’ll receive a festive goodie bag to take away, featuring a range of Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Christmas products, as well as any leftovers from your festive concoctions cooked up during the hosting.
The completely FREE two hour classes will be available to book for Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd November 2023 between 16:00- 21:30.

By purchasing a ticket, you and up to x1 guest attending the Ho Ho Hosting with Sainsbury’s event being held on Tuesday 22nd - Wednesday 23rd November 2023 at Jenius Social are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.
Allergies/Dietary Requirements:
Please ensure that you share dietary requirements at the time of booking and again with staff on arrival at the event. Please also check all product packaging on the day regarding your allergies and dietary requirements.
We cannot guarantee products will be available to suit all dietary requirements but will try our best provided these are shared in advance at the time of booking.
As the food will be prepared in an environment that handles allergens, we cannot guarantee the absence of any allergens.
Booking Process:
Sessions are 120 minutes and will start and end at the time specified on your booking. If you are late, we won't be able to extend your session, but we will hold your slot for 15 minutes, and if you arrive later than 15 minutes of your event time, you will no longer be able to attend the event.
The event entry and all food and drink items for your ticket are free, but we will take a £10 deposit to secure your booking through our third-party payment provider Design My Night. This will be fully refunded within 3 working days of you attending the event, or us cancelling in the event of the above. Or if you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice or if your dietary or allergy products that you shared with us at the time of the booking were not made available to you.
If you wish for your £10 holding fee to go to charity following attendance, please tick this option at check out.
To cancel you must notify us directly by emailing Sainsburyshosting@hopeandglorypr.com. If you cancel within less than 24 hours’-notice or fail to attend your slot or turn up more than 15 minutes late for your slot, your £10 deposit will be donated to the Sainsbury’s Nourish the Nation programme in partnership with Comic Relief, to help tackle food poverty.

This is a strictly 18+ event
Food Safety:
There will be a hand washing facility on site which must be used by you and your guests before handling food and we also encourage all guests to use after cooking food and after cooking.
By booking your ticket you are also accepting responsibility for handling sharp cooking utensils, safely using any ovens required and generally maintaining a safe environment.
A professional chef from Sainsbury’s will be leading the session so please don’t hesitate to ask any questions around the food you are handling and eating.
Behaviour Policy:
If you or any of your guests are disorderly or disturb others, you may be politely asked to leave by one of our team members. We also ask that you and your guests do not bring in your own alcohol, and if you do so you will be removed from the event.
