🇯🇲 🎥 Dubquake Records presents “Ina Vanguard Style” a documentary on Iration Steppas. The release date is set for February 6th, 2022 – with some thirty movie premieres happening around the world. The French label are also re-issuing five legendary 12” records from the Leeds sound system in early November!

In the late 80s, the reggae sound system scene is thriving in the UK, home-made speaker boxesare shaking the underground to its core.  In the dance, Jamaican roots reggae starts to make way to a new sound : UK Dub. “Ina Vanguard Style” takes you on a vibrant journey into Chapeltown’sghetto in Leeds where a local youngster Mark Iration revolutionized the Dub scene alongside hislong-time accomplice in musical murder Dennis Rootical ; from growing up in a West-Indiancommunity and blasting their ghetto blasters, to building their huge soundsystem and becoming the“Vanguard of Dub”, a major player that changed music history. 🔊

    Really good show. Intimate venue and good service. The support acts were amazing, and Tim Lyre worked the crowd so well. So glad we went. Definitely worth it and will be looking out for future performances.

    Loved Tim Lyre, the performances were dope karl benjamin was hard as well. Loved his singing.
