QUEEN'S PARK
The park opened in 1886 and was named Queen's Park in honour of the reigning monarch, who was celebrating her Golden Jubilee the following year. Perfect for events, the local community host two annual festivals at Queen's Park, keeping the park at the heart of the community's live music and cultural offerings. CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON
Li Mu Bai (Chow Yun-Fat - Hard Boiled; The Replacement Killers) is an accomplished swordsman who is just getting ready to put his feet up and check in to a life of meditation when his very snazzy and sentimentally-valuable sword The Green Destiny, entrusted to his life long pal who he’s really in love with, Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh - The Lady; Tomorrow Never Dies; Memoirs of a Geisha) gets stolen by a masked intruder. Could finding the sword also lead Li Mu Bai to the elusive Jade Fox, who killed his master all those years ago? What role does the quietly tempestuous Governor’s daughter Jen play in the web of betrayal, love and power? And will his feelings for Shu ever be revealed?
