This tasting event will offer a deep dive into the spirits and communities of the Miahuatlán valleys of southern Oaxaca - a region extremely rich in biodiversity and peppered with hundreds of small-scale mezcal producers.
It's also a very first opportunity to see what's behind the doors at Sorbito, the new concept in agave spirits from The Sin Gusano Project launching later this year.

Juré from Mexico, who will co-host this
small run of sessions along with Sin Gusano Project founder Jon
Darby.
Vinik is social ecologist who lives in Oaxaca and has a deep knowledge of the land and its communities. During an evening of story-telling and conversation he will take us beyond the bottles and show how real mezcal is inextricably linked to the communities and landscape it comes from. And of course, we’ll be sampling the very best agave spirits along the way.
For these very special pre-launch events will also expect special guest appearances from fellow agave evangelists Pensador Mezcal, and more!
The session will begin 30 minutes after the listed event start time. The bar will be open for pre and post session drinks. Sorbito does not have a kitchen (only nibbles)… try NOT to arrive too hungry!
