Brunel Museum Rooftop Garden

Sorry, this event has taken place.

Saturday 19 March 2016
17:30 - 23:00 (doors at 17:30)
Date Night, Food & Drink, Live Music, Pop-Up
Jazz, Live Music, Rhythm and Blues
Over 18

Join us once again for a celebration of both the Emerald Isle and the Spring Equinox.

Your botanical cocktails will be bursting with signs of spring (lovingly grown in the garden or foraged nearby and fashioned into exquisite infusions and cocktails by Midnight Apothecary founder Lottie Muir aka The Cocktail Gardener) ...and probably a double Jamo or two.  Our rooftop garden will be alive to the joys and drama of the upcoming greenery with the sounds of a crackling firepit, giant flares and toasting marshmallows.  Cosied up in the Engine House, your ears and hearts will be filled with the extraordinary talents of the Nathan Osgood Trio including Marmalade.  Their Irish hot jazz and blues will leave you swooning and stomping. Down on the terrace the Piccalilli Caff (award winning crew from Surrey Docks Farm) will be serving up some sizzling warming fare. If that isn't enough there will be optional guided descents of Brunel's vast underground Chamber (opened in this very month of March 1843) at 6.30pm and 10pm. Yes, the craic will be mighty.

Would probably be more enjoyable for people in their thirties or fourties. Last orders for drinks only 10pm and shut at 11. There was only one campfire outside. Cocktails were overpriced. Kirsty visited Brunel Museum Rooftop Garden on 13 Mar 2016

Really chilled out and lovely. If you fancy live music, marshmallows by the fire and tasty cocktails this is a great night out. The cocktails were £8 each and there was curry available and a honey beer. Jennifer visited Brunel Museum Rooftop Garden on 27 Feb 2016
