Our Latin Thing presents Bugaloo Social Club at the Rivoli - Saturday 28th November!
A celebration of Boogaloo, Latin Jazz, Funk & Salsa, with infectious rhythms, deep grooves, live Percussion and more. The Bugaloo Social Club is London’s newest, and only, night centred on boogaloo music and dance.
Our Latin Thing (OLT) is an underground Latin movement building a community around a shared culture and traditional sounds—played strictly on vinyl. A celebration by and for the diaspora, OLT welcomes dancers from all backgrounds, capturing the warmth and high energy of traditional gatherings rooted in resistance, community, and love. Journeying through Latin-American sounds and rhythms, expect to hear grooves that will keep you moving all night long.
Pacheco: DJ, radio host, and Our Latin Thing founder, Pacheco brings a signature sound that bridges golden‑era Salsa, Cumbia, Boogaloo, Latin Funk and Soul to channel the vibrant spirit of the 70s, igniting some of London's most notable dance floors to deliver swing, soul, and serious fuego.
Dani: Founder of Latin Roots Records and co-producer of Our Latin Thing, Dani is a veteran in London's salsa scene, having played across prominent salsa nights and venues in the UK's capital for 15+ years, he carries a deep catalogue, delivering expertly curated selections rooted in Son montuno, Guaguancó, Boogaloo and Salsa blending dancefloor classics with deeper cuts straight from the crates.
